Hints

Registration
In order to be able to save your diary entries, you need to register with enaturenotes. Just complete the simple form when prompted. Your username is your email address and your password can be anything you choose (any character length is fine).

Photos
You can make your diary entries more attractive by adding a photo. Choose from our photo gallery, or if you are registered with the site, you can upload your own. The system can accept most types of image, except those with very large filesizes.

Diary entries
If enaturenotes is left open for long periods, it may timeout, so do save your entries regularly whilst working on them!

Showcase
If you have written a diary entry you are proud of, why not submit it to our showcase? Submissions will be regularly reviewed and the best entries will be posted online. To improve your chances of being selected, write something short, with a personal account of an experience with the natural world and including a photo or drawing of what you have seen. Look out for our special celebrity entries too....!

Need inspiration?
Then why not read 'The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady' by Edith Holden? Written in 1906, the book celebrates its centenary this year. Copies are available through Amazon.

Using enaturenotes in school
Enature notes is a great resource to help pupils appreciate the natural world and write creatively. If you want your class to all use enaturenotes simultaneously in an IT suite, we suggest that they either:

a) All register using individual email addresses if they have them or
b) The teacher registers as the main account holder and each pupil logs in using the same registration then chooses a different day to write their diary entry
